Corporate gifting isn't a new practice but has grown in popularity with the rise in entrepreneurship and remote work. Presenting clients, employees, partners, event attendees and others with gifts of gratitude provides an opportunity to build and foster relationships. The purpose isn't to influence business decisions–but to let others know they are valued, which is a great way to strengthen connections.
Tokens of appreciation, such as gift cards and carefully curated goodies, are ideal for monthly/quarterly award announcements, showing goodwill to prospective clients, team members and observing Boss's Day or Secretary's Day.
Since 2019, Get The Bag has worked to increase Customer Capital through its Corporate Gifting Services. Our offerings have promoted 112 Black-owned businesses, boosted brand awareness, provided unique unboxing experiences, and increased customer retention. We have obtained the U.S. Black Chamber of Commerce ByBlack Certification, earned the Green America Business Certification, and collaborated with Green America in "Shop Black Friday" to promote 14 partner brands. Our efforts have also kept most of our spending with Black women-owned businesses.
At Get The Bag, your purchase makes a difference. We aim to help Black women-owned businesses thrive, gain visibility and maximize their economic potential. When Black women win, we all do! Black women lead as the most educated, charitable, and civically involved, but low annual revenues prevent our businesses and business owners from thriving.
How our Corporate Gifting Services Work:
- We buy unique, fun, high-quality goods from Black women-owned brands, then bundle them into fabulous gifting experiences.
- Impact-focused and inclusive-minded organizations then purchase these gifts for employees, clients, prospects, event attendees, and new members.
- They, in turn, seek out these new brands for future purchases. The increased visibility can help business owners increase sales and become more appealing to funders.
One of our Get The Bag Corporate Gifting Partner Brands, Karen Arrington, Author, Goodwill Ambassador to Sierra Leone, and Founder of Miss Black USA, says…
"Get The Bag has been a champion, buyer, and promoter of my book "Your Next Level Life: 7 Rules of Power, Confidence, and Opportunity for Black Women in America" since 2020. It has been featured in several iterations of their business and personal gift boxes and is loved by men and women alike! I also have found the informative and beneficial resources shared with the Get The Bag community to grow my business."
